If you are one of those Dinosaurs like me, that did not realize my old wired ears buds system
would not work with a Bluetooth Zumo. I found a solution for myself. I did not want to go to helmet
mounted speakers with a Cardo unit or something. I really like the ear (noise) protection from a good
ear bud. I tried a Bluetooth receiver that plugged into my Mix-it Amp. That worked for my West Virginia National trip.
But pooped the bed recently. After much internet searching, I discovered Bluetooth wired Ear buds with protective
ear pieces. I got the Rumble unit from Elgin. 12 hr charge, great sound. So far it does not hurt my ears in the helmet.
Haven't tried a day long trip yet.
Another part of my original problem was some incorrect advice from a Garmin rep. I could not get the Music or Directions to play
from the Zumo. He told me I had to get the Phone and Zumo to link with the receiver, not so. The Zumo has to link with the phone
and you audio system. So both play.
