Brake Squeal...

On the way home yesterday I noticed that my front brakes were starting to squeal....not loudly but the noise is there...bike only has 7600 miles on it...  Is it possible that the pads are worn out already????  :-\

They shouldn't be (especially with the highway miles). But you never know. You could have a caliper dragging the pads. It's only a couple of bolts on each side. Pop off the calipers and take a real good look at the pads. Or of course bring it up and we'll do it!

LOL i'll pop em off this weekend and take a gander....  (At the same time I check the head bearing etc)

When are you guys doing another wrenching session?  :)

Had same noise after rear pad change by the dealer. Cleaned the calipers good, put anti- sqeal on the backs of the pads and shazaam.....
