I have been using a Ram Mount but I was getting annoyed with not being able to fid the right way to fit my iPhone 13. It was either pressing the volume button up or down all the time. Did some looking and decided to get this. Just finished putting it on. It has an SAE connector and comes with wiring to hard wire or USB. I am going to order an SAE pigtail so I can hard wire it. IT also comes with the stem mount. Wireless charging works great even with the case I have.
I used the extender from my Ram mount so I can switch to the Ram mount x thing if I need ot use my small Garmin. Really nice construction.

So that stem goes into the fork hole then the stem opens up to tighten into that hole? I’m looking at one now but am not entirely sure how it stays in there. Doesn’t seem like it screws into there.

I saw one that has a replacement screw into near the kill switch on the handlebar. However that seems too close to me. I prefer it down by the stem
 
I bought a stem mount, but that center " bolt" is hollow and the inside much wider than the hex opening, so the expander in the adapter didn't work. Instead, i got the type that bridges across the handlebar bases, which works great.

It has an expansion mechanism like a tailpipe expander tool. It i metal so very sturdy. It has a safety torx head (for security). Seems like a overkill to me. I keep the wrench in the tool pouch under the seat so I don't lose it. I have been really happy with it. Very sturdy, holds the phone great. on/off with the ignition after I wired it in.

Appreciate it! Someone else said it wouldn’t open up enough to be stable. I’m thinking that was an older version
