Browser issues - laptop versus iPad

For whatever reason (and don't get started on "it's an apple thing"), I am able to edit and post from Safari on my computer but the website doesn't allow replies if I use Safari on iPad OS.

Mac OS version: Monterey, OS X 12.3.1
Ipad OS version: 15.4.1 (latest)

Hints? Not that worried, I usually use either my Dell laptop or the MacBook Air, but travelling lighter with the iPad would be nice.
