buzzing sound

rode with some harley friends the other day after the ride a comment from one, as you past us it just made a buzzing sound!! have read some of the comments on after market exhaust systems can anyone tell what slip on will make it sound like a motor cycle 09 c14a cog# 9179 thank you
 
I think they may have been messing with you. A jap bike passing a Harley? But in case you are looking for an exhasut that actually sounds like a 1400, many have used CS-1, AreaP, Muzzy, etc... I personally went with a new full exhaust, AreaP with a Power Commander V. 9% boost in HP (134 to 149) and a 10% boost in torque.
 
Muzzy slip on carbon fiber looks sweet sounds great and a lot lighter than fac. Not to pricey paid 500 at dealer. they won't hear any buzz over this pipes sound .lol
 
I didn't like the sound of the factory exhaust so I installed a 2Bro Ti pipe and it sounds great. I think I paid $360 with free shipping from leclarepowersports.com
