This is just a portion. Enjoy!  Steve

Hi there,
Let me be the first to post in this section.
I was maybe one of the ones that still had a "concern" about the EVO flash and wondered if Steve could do more to help my concern.  The broad band, smooth power while delivering better MPGs was great but I was still feeling unsteady.  By that I mean when I would ride aggressive tight roads I felt I got to big of a surge of power as I tried to crack open the throttle to steady the bike for the turn making it feel unsteady.  I was not sure if it was just me or even just my bike.  Steve must have had a couple other members mention it also and so may have been born the Mountain Runner idea.
I was part of the beta testing but I did a crappy job.  My life got to busy to really help as much as I should have.  Steve was great though and kept working on and developing it.  Just after new year I was finally able to get the current version of the Mountain Runner Flash.  Sorry I am late to the show but not sorry I got the flash.
Steve! YOU DID IT.  Everything that I could imagine that you can achieve from a re-flash you surly got now.  But feel free to surprise us once again.
The bike is much more controllable now.  When you add that to more power and better mileage what more could you possibly do.  Well done Sir.

BTW my throttle cable was set perfect before the last testing of the Beta and set the same for the final version. The flash made it better for sure.

Steve I don't know how you do it but each version of your flash gets better!  I was unsure if the MR flash could be better, but it is,  and perfect for my style of riding.  Incredibly smooth with better MPG!

GTR1400 from down under, equipped with the Australian version of The Mountain Runner Flash.Aussie beta tester.
Its been a few months since the Mountain Runner ECU flash was installed, still blown away every time I ride the GTR 1400 with the amount of power, smoothness and outstanding fuel economy the beast has. Slowly getting other Aussie's interested in the upgrade.Considering the work Steve has put into the Mountain Runner Flash and the opportunity to be part of its further development, promotion is the least I could do.

Hi Steve

I'm pretty new here, so also pretty late to the flashing party..

My 2009 Connie is ALL stock (air filter, spark plugs, exhaust system, etc), and currently has about 20k miles.

Considering the gen 1 C14 doesn't have the OEM extended range fuel mapping circuit, what are my Shoodaben options with your continuing development? Thanks!

(My previous bike was a 2005 ZX-10R...)

Edit: California model with all the darn OEM CA compliant plumbing...

I also ride an 09 C14. The Mountain Runner flash will blow you away. You get not only awesome performance it's absolutely smooth and better milage with really good engine braking.

That's great to hear, Deepsea! Exactly what I wanted to know!

Here's what I really think about Steve's Flash. If you're completely unsatisfied I will refund your money out of my own pocket. I have no connection to Steve other than as a user of his product. It's that good!

Well that's pretty humbling. One of the few times I don't have the words. If folks knew how serious you are about this stuff Mike, they'd understand. Thank you.
  Steve

Here is a sight I had not seen in ten years and 200,000 miles on a C14 until I got the Mountain Runner flash.
Before the flash I never gone more than 60 miles into a tank before the gauge dropped the first bar. I stopped to take the pic at 75.
I was beginning to think my gauge was stuck but it changed at 78.9. The flash will pay for itself! :great:

Good grief...what happened to the dash?
Is that heat or chemical damage?  :(

Dont know, was like that when i bought it. Assume it was the windshield magnified sunlight damage. Did not concern me since i had a good spare or so i thought. My spare did not gave the abs light so i put the damaged one back on.

Hi everyone,

Finally got to take my 09 out for a spin with the Mountain runner flash, what a difference! I was riding solo and bike was so smooth through the shifting. I was able to leave the bike in one gear and almost drive it like an automatic, not up an downshifting to keep the revs at a certain level. I want to try it with a passenger, because I remember we would always conk helmets whenever I would up and down shift. The bike is now so smooth through shifting, I'm hoping that will be gone. After I take for a longer journey I will post some more, but very pleased with the way it runs now. I was thinking of a new bike, but with this flash I have a new bike!

Thanks, Scott
