I'm out. Sorry guys.

The roads are great. The company is great. The foot is not so great. Lots of pain in the left foot...the one I had surgery on two years ago.

As they say, "What's wrong with this picture?"

Answer: The screw is backing out.

So I'll miss this one and try for other trips south.

We will miss you Chris but it is more important that your health is 100 percent. I hope you have a quick and complete recovery and we will see you at another event soon.
 
Yeah, I asked the doc if they used Loctite on things like this and he cracked up. Apparently not. Everything else is healed up fine, so this will be relatively minor. Ten days after surgery and the stitches come out.

What that will mean is the other pains I'm getting in the foot will go away. The rest of the foot was trying to compensate for the pain in that one spot. So things should get much better.

I'm going to ask him what kind of warranty he gives on his work? 90 days? A year? Or the end of the driveway? :D

With a dire rainy and cold weather forecast in the area that we will be riding I have decided with the advice of the riders that are registered to go that we will cancel this meet and greet this week but I will reschedule for later this year. Gotta ride those very fun and twisty roads and perhaps we will have more riders registered. I am very sorry to have to cancel this.

Good call. I wasn’t going to be able to make it this week, but was bummed for you when I saw the weather forecast. April is always a little tough to predict, especially up in Trinity.
