Carpuride W603 Carplay/AndroidAuto

Back during Prime Day, I picked up one of the Carpuride W603 units while it had a good price. As the C10 definitely does not have what would be considered a good way to mount units like this one, with the exception of maybe one of the various mirror mount points, I thought I would share my solution. See the photos below. I used the ring mount to secure the unit to the left riser. It hasn't budged even once. I'm sure I will likely need to tighten it a bit as time moves on, but I was surprised at how well it holds on. It's basically a square peg in a round hole situation. It comes with a small sunshade, but mine was cracked. I just got the new one a couple days ago. The W603, if you aren't familiar with it, also comes with a wired remote which mounted well to the left grip. The unit comes with both a USB and battery connect power cord. I connected direct to battery. It has an auto-sleep mode, but it also shuts down by holding the top button of the remove for about five seconds. It works quite well with the Cardo Freecom 4x.

Back in the day when the c10 was the darling at the mc party, Larry Buck made all kinds of.trick items including a dash shelf that mounted over the curved c10 instrument cluster. I mounted my GPS unit and an voltmeter and auxiliary lighting switches on it. Wish I had some pictures to post but sadly I don't.

How did you attach that to the tank? I'm not quite catching it by the picture.

Not attached to tank. Attached to left handle bar riser using two ball mounts that come with device and the clamp bar between them. I can take better photo if needed. These photos were taken for a different purpose, but I thought worked for this post.

Before i leave work this evening, I'll take a photo or two from an entirely different set of angles that show the mounting method better. I was amazing at how well it holds.

Below image from vendor shows components used, though obviously not in the way I used them.

This is my setup on my 14
I like it.

Shows how much attention I've been paying to the 14, even though I'd like to upgrade to one eventually. I had not realized that Kawi had gone to a regular handle bar style.

EDIT: Never mind. I see that you have aftermarket.
