We'll after being drop free for 2 years, I had another drop. No damage though. This was on the way to the Summer Rally in VT a couple of weeks ago. I was 2nd in a group of 3 riders. Coming to a stop fully loaded (bags, trunk and passenger to the max) I switched lanes at a very slow speed. At this point the front wheel was struggling to stay straight. I had to stop on the white stop line but managed to hit the front brake with the wheel slightly turned. Over we went in slow mo. No damage to the bike or passengers. Thanks to Bob Petit for helping right the bike. Darn - that makes 3 for me!

Hey Greg look at it this way. You had zero damage. So you only hurt the ego! Bionic Bob COG & AMA member First C14 CDA member #0220 08 C14,03 Mean Streak, & 86 C10

Ego damage does cost less than plastic damage, but takes longer to repair. [For slow speed riding] use of the rear brake is less likely to cause a CDA, or be sure the handlebars are square before using front brake.

do not EVER use the front brake when travelling at only parking lot speed. this applies to any bike, not just connies. evert cog 6356
