Coolant tank fill hack

My 2014 C-14 has been using some coolant since I got it, I've got to fill the tank 2-3X a season. Thats a different thread.
Today while detailing some bugs and grime I check the tank and there's only about 1/4" coolant in it.
Shoot, didn't want to take off the fairing to fill it so I thought maybe I could take the hose off and siphon coolant in from above.
5 Mins- worked like a charm.
I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, but I was happy!

Why does the fluid level go down? Mine does it too.

You can use a Turkey baster (or a big syringe, or an pump style oil can, or other) and pump fluid in thru the same hose.
Works like a champ.

Ride safe, Ted

The easiest way to add fluid to the tank is via the top hose coming off the radiator. Buy an empty condiment squeeze bottle with a fine tip, fill it with radiator fluid and just stick it in the tube and squeeze. I had a problem with my radiator overflowing at high altitude and this was how I managed during the trip.
