Final Fall Fling #6
The Final Fall Fling 6 rally will be held again in the South Central region in Clinton, Arkansas on October 4th and October 5th, 2024 (arrival on the 3rd). All registration will take place online.

The rally hotel will be the Super 8 by Wyndham in Clinton, AR. The hotel phone number is 501-745-8810 Special rate is $75/night for double queen. I have blocked off 8 rooms. Be sure when you make your reservation to use the phone number above and tell them you are with COG. DO NOT call the reservation number as they know nothing about us. There is plenty of room for trailer parking in the rear of the hotel.

The rally fee will be $20 for members (and $25 for non-members) to cover costs. If anyone has any questions, feel free to call or message Jim Snyder or Ted Adcock.

We look forward to seeing you there

To all....
(After he foolishly told us he would be home) I asked Cliff if he would mind doing another Burger Burn for us that weekend.
Anddddddddddddd,,,,, woo hoo,,,, he (err) "agreed". šŸ«Ø
I sure hope he checked with the Boss (Jimmie)

So; Saturday evening / Oct 5th,,, we'll arrange designated driver/transportation to Cliff's for burgers.
You'll hafta bring your own beverage of choice, but you can relax while we drive ya to/from Cliff's.

ie; We do the driving every year so that everyone {that wants} can safely have a cold beverage or 2.

More later, Ride safe, Ted

Disclaimer: Relaxing {while Jim drives} may be a slight overstatement but you'll be ok. (trust me) šŸ˜

OK the phone number for the hotel has been updated. 501-745-8810 is the front desk direct number. The other number that I removed would work but you had to pick option 2. Anyway it's all good now. I have requested the phone # be updated on the event calender as well.

IMPORTANT:
The original Event Information for the Final fall Fling sed to call 501 209-4358.
If you call that number "the recording" tells you to punch 1 for reservations and punch 2 for the front desk.
Do not punch 1.
Punch 2 and you "will reach" the front desk.

The direct number is 501 745-8810 and works perfectly.
Call 501 745-8810 and you should have no problem reaching the front desk.

Ride safe, Ted

PS-I:
We now have 8 that have told us they intend to go to the Final Fall Fling, and 4 have already booked their rooms.
If you have a problem getting a room, let us know immediately and we'll try to arrange more rooms at the discount price.
The sooner we tell the motel we need more rooms the better chance we'll have to get them.

PS II: Any mistakes that were made on the phone numbers/etc were all Robert's fault!

Okay, so Ted said have a burger burn at my house & Ted/Jim are technically the rally meisters. But since this is being done at my house & I'm cooking/providing food, we're gonna do better than burgers. I don't know what yet, but I just need to able to prep & cook in a reasonable length of time since I'll be out riding also.

I have a couple things on my mind, but open for suggestions.

Well you cook some mean chicken, and Jimmie makes the best beans (hint-hint)

I just registered. This will be my first COG event, and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm only like an hour away, so I'll be riding up each day.

I'm sending my ecu off tomorrow to get flashed by Steve, so I'll get that back in time for the fun.

We talked about doing that, but plan to stay over a few days after the event instead.

Ride safe, Ted

PS: We'd enjoy more folks there with us.
There's still time to sign up and come ride with us!

**Would it help you decide to come if I mention that Cliff's buying?

Sorry not going to be able to make this one. I had previously promised our Southwest Cousins I would attend the Devil's Cut the same weekend. I have never been able to attend one of their rides. Any way the trip will be over 400 miles closer for me. Hope to see everyone at the Nationals!

For those planning to attend but haven't registered, post here (preferred) or PM me so we can have a somewhat accurate head count for food.

If not, you may be just watching others eat & licking your lips! šŸ˜

Started getting things together for the trip.
As always, I'm taking waaaaaayyyyyy too much stuff that I won't need..
Heck, I even washed the bike!

Headed that way on Thursday..

Ride safe, Ted

PS: Everyone keep an eye on the possible storm in the Gulf. We have no idea when it will move, and which way it will decide to go.

10-day forecast is nothing but sunshine! Temperatures will be above normal, so a bit warm for this time of year.

Overall great riding weather though. šŸ˜

I can't wait to get away from this hot box down here in San Antonio. Supposed to be 97 tomorrow as I start my way to Arky. I am so looking forward to those curvy roads and cool mornings.

See you soon
Steve

OK the eagle has landed. The weather is going to be awesome for the next several days. See yall when you get here.

So, what time in the morning are we gathering?

I would have liked to been there today but I was stuck in court 3 hours away all afternoon.

It was great meeting everyone and hope to see you all again in the near future.

Thanks again for introducing me to some amazing roads. I've already ordered a new rear tire so I can enjoy them while the weather cooperates.
