Anyone ever fit a flag to their C10?

Looking to get a flag pole, but all I see are the ones that clamp onto round luggage racks.

Any ideas for a C10?

Thanks!!

Well, the term flagpole suggests something a bit bigger than what I used which was a small approx. 8"X4" flag attached to my rear rack using a small clamp, sorry, no pics, no company name, too long ago. I remember though it was a type of HD parts catalogue, the clamp used the small types of flags handed out at various functions. Anyhow, I would start with HD types sites since I see quite a few with larger flags on their bikes.

I have a 2ft x 3ft pair of flags I want to run from time to time, so yes. A bit larger.

I think Bud's idea of a trailer hitch mount is excellent.

Plus, then I'd have a trailer hitch.

Never saw too many, I think there may have been a commercially offered one way back, doubt if it's even offered anymore, most of the ones I've seen here the last 10 years or so have been custom made, quite a lot of work involved for a flag pole I think.

I see flags on cars and pickup trucks - the fluttering and wind resistance encourages operating at very low speeds.

Agreed! Speed limit in DC is 25 MPH in most of it, so that's perfect!

I think I recall one being sold on the Forum recently.

Try posting a Hitch needed on the Forum/Facebook.
It might be available or someone might have 1 for less than $300+..

I'm surprised you could still buy a new one.

See this thread - a member was fabricating one.

I have a smaller flag I use.
I used a metal tube, just big enough to let a tent pole slip onto it, then firmly zip-tied the tube to my rack. I glued the flag to an old tent pole, slip it into the tube and secure it through a hole I drilled through the tube and tent pole.
