I know it's tempting, but it's illegal to carry more than one hot, 19 year old blond cheerleader on the bike at a time because you only have one set of passenger footpegs. I still have my stock springs so I can't comment on either one from experience. I know you fit the spring's weight to the weight of the load when you're selecting them but the difference between them after that seems to be subjective from what I've read.
I think we were just yakin about this the other day. http://www.cog-online.org/clubportal/mboards/viewmessages.cfm?clubID=1328&forum=1407&Topic=17278 ---------------------------------- South Central Area Director Email scad@cog-online.org
I vote for straight rate springs with 15wt oil. Use the sonic calculator for the size. OR use the sonic calculator subtract .1 and add cartridge emulators along with the 15wt oil. 2003 Concours, 48K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm
one or more of you are sick !!!! i can't get the picture of the blond cheerleader on my new connie outa my head !!! the advise was great also . i now plan to order the sonic springs this week, 1.2 should do it allowing for a slightly plump cheerleader of course !! thanks for the great help as usual.
I just fitted Sonic's last week and went out for the first ride on then today. Definitely less dive, and a better ride than stock, but need more time on the road. I also swapped the CFO's screen over for my standard one, way better, there seems so me more air coming over the screen even thou hers is 1 1/2" higher, but the turbulence from the lip is missing. I plan to ride on the Bun Cooler with her screen, it will be interesting to see if she notices I swapped the screens over. Anyone want to place a bet she doesn't LoL Colin Prior Cogmos Administrator Lake Forest Park WA COG#7767 AMA#1081764
