help/advice for visit to NYC

I am going to be visiting my daughter and her family in Brooklyn, NY the week prior to the Williamsport National.  I plan to leave the bike outside the city, no place to park at the daughter's place, and take the train into the city.  I would really like to find a COGger who has room in their garage to store my bike for the week.  If that doesn't work out, does anyone know of a good storage unit facility where I could rent a space to store the bike?  I plan to be in the city from July 14-19.  TIA for all offers/advice.

Do you happen to know where in Brooklyn you will be staying? I live in Brooklyn and I could give you an idea how critical it is to find a garage.

And I also know two bike clubs which do short and long term parking.

Hi BB, I will be in the Ditmas Park area.  Daughters bldg. is at Westminister Rd & Newkirk Ave.
