Names Kevin. Bought a 2012 C14 in May of this year. Had 18k when I bough it, ending the year with 22k on the odo. Also have a Yamaha Mt-09. Great bike to do dumb stuff on but after an hour my ass hurts. Bought the connie to be able to do longer rides and still be able to twist the throttle and have fun.
Overall the bike is great and love riding it. When I bought the bike it was overall stock. Did some routine maintenance; Changed coolant, brake/clutch fluid, cleaned air filter, changed shaft gear oil. Put a lithum battery in becuase some dumbass left the key on and killed the old battery. Whoops
Dealership put new tires on and new spark plugs.
Now the weather is cold in WNY I've got plans on what needs to be worked on this winter. Mainly repalcing the rear shock and trying to replace the battery in the tpms.
Big shout out to Steve at shoodabeen, just before the weather got to cold sent the ecu to him to get the mountain runner premium flash and only was able to take the bike out for an hour or so after the ecu came back but just from the little ride I could tell it was like a brand new bike. Lower gears much smoother and power smoother through out the rev range. Big thank you Steve, keep up the good work
