High mileage bikes

I've got 93,000 on my 99 and I am trying to decide if I care. The bike rides and drives great. I'm seeking input from people with 100k plus bikes and also interested in finding out who has the highest mile original (not rebuilt) bike.

At the 2008 North South ride on Saturday night there was 5 concours setting in the driveway that had 100,000 miles on the motorcycles by the one owner. To date it is a lot more miles. Russell Fleming 1995 concours 230,000+ I did a head gasket at 200,000. Guy Young 1995 concours 140,000+ Greg Puterbaugh 2001 concours 135,000 + Bobby Winters 1995 concours 110,000+ John Lippy 1986 concours 105,000+ For a total of 720,000 miles. Russell W Fleming

Yeah that would be Jeff Beecher. TTBOMK (to the best of my knowledge) Jeff now has over 230K on his 2001. In fact he ran into (met that is) Steve Mustoe up on the Cassiar Highway in the Yukon this summer. This was a surprise for the both of them! AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! High mileage in the southeast, that would be John Youhouse. He had over 252k on his connie when it was wiped out. Another similar one is Don Ricks, he has over 220k on his connie. I think Don's is an 88 model also. So the connie is the Timex of motorcycles, "it takes a licking and keep on ticking' down the road. tcars, John, COG 4157, AMA & ROK Central Jawja AAD

Hmmmmmm, I have a 2003 with 145K, it sits a lot now since getting my Moto Guzzi Stelvio back in the spring. I think I have put less than a 1000 miles on it this year.
