Make your bike sound better

If you want to make your concours sound terriffic without spending alot of dough, go to www.ThunderTaps.com. Thunder Taps are a better sounding and eaiser alturnitive to the "bafflectomy". A Thunder Tap is a small flanged tube that you install into the bottom of your stock muffler to let out more of the deep throaty sounds. They take about 15 minutes to install and they really make a connie sound great. I've put them on both of my concourses.

Interesting. Alternatives are always a good thing, I'm just not sure how it's easier than stickin a drill up the pipes (OK, that didn't sound right...) It reminds me of the good old days at the drag races. Back when guys would install those cable-operated "Y" valves for the exhaust system. Go from a throaty muffler to darn near open headers at the pull of a cable. Mike B / Gig Harbor, WA
