i decided to head south out of sisters for the day and go down and see Crater Lake, which i'd not seen since being transferred to OR.  so the next bunch of photos will be CL.  very deep blue water.  deepest lake in North America.  over 1900 ft. deep.  it was much bigger than i had envisioned.  looked like almost a mile across.

when everyone got back we relaxed a bit and caught up on the news, had a great dinner on the patio and even a group photo.  all in all a great rally.  i plan on coming back next year, God willing, and go get some more photos of Crater Lake.  that lake and volcano are quite impressive.

notice the last pic of crater lake.  Mid-August.  and there was still snow around the lake in spots...

thanks.  if you click on the photos, i think most photo viewers will enlarge it if you want a closer/bigger look see at the photos.  ZG, we missed ya.

Unless a thread reader is a forum member, and logged on, he can't see the small click-on-me photos (earlier in the thread) even before clicking - so tdbru emailed me some photos and suggested I post them here.

These tdbru (Brian) photos will be visible to all on this thread, and may help forum visitors decide to attend next year.
