My 2011 is on the choping block

That's quite a list, Tom. You sure you didn't forget anything? LOL
What's replacing it?

Yes, I forgot there is a list of extra parts. I have a new set of front brake rotors, and drawers full of extra parts for this thing that I bought over the years.

I'm not sure what will replace it yet, the Yamaha Tenere is on my list. This new Tracer 9 GT+ intrigues me a bit. Do I stick with a Kawasaki or do I finally realize I am not getting younger and buy a Gold Wing?

One of these days when Jami goes to the casino, I will go motorcycle shopping and ride home what ever catches my eye that day. :)

Does the H2 SX SE catch your eye.

Some best in class technology that Kawasaki could somehow never get find a way to put onto the C-14, lighter weight and guessing by now there’s a windshield option for better coverage.

Given the smaller size of the Tenere and Tracer as options you’ve already listed and price point of the GoldWing this would be a runner up. Seating position I’ve seen is not much different than the C-14.

I love that bike, but do you realize how much trouble I could get into on a H2?

I am very fortunate that I have only had two tickets, one warning, and had to do 25 push ups on the side of the road to get out of another ticket on my C14. Since I don't have twisties in my backyard anymore. I figured I need to buy something to go play in the desert and/or something to do distance rides on.

A friend of mine has an H2-SX. It's an amazing machine, but I'd say it's more of a sport bike that is comfortable to go some distance and has factory hard side cases available (gotta pay extra, though). I'd say it's more for those who like a Ninja 1000SX, but think it's too slow (and don't mind spending over double the money). I have not ridden a C-14, but the H2-SX makes my old Kawasakis feel like crude tractors in comparison. The smoothness and seemingly infinite power were astounding. I was riding my ZX600-C Ninja when we traded off, and I didn't dare get close to full wrist on the H2. The power was insane, and felt as linear as an electric motor.

For the record, I was being fascetious because the list was so long!
By brother bought a C14 last year. He was seriously considering a Ninja 1000 SX, which appears to have similar ergonomics to the C14. He went with the Connie because he likes the look better, large bags, and adjust... and the lower $$ didn't hurt.
Happy hunting!

Oh I understand that. I was throwing a bit of sarcasm back at ya because I get a lot of $h!t about being so meticulous with my garages and vehicles.

I was taught if you want nice things, you better keep track of them and take care of them.

The trailer is on the copping block as well, the side by side barely fits in this one.

I think you are going to miss that nice ride you are selling. I can't think of a nicer, more powerful, good handling and astetically fine looking motorcycle out there. My 2010 is my 15th or 16th motorcycle dating back to 1971 when I acquired a CB 750. Even though I am a Hayabusa type of guy these Connies when done right with a flash and a pipe ( Area P on mine ) are plenty quick for my way of riding. The brakes are right up there or better than anything I have ever ridden.
All the best to you with whatever you decide to do.
