Hello Concours Owners Group members... I was a member many years ago (early 90s) and rode my '90 Concours up and down the east coast. Retiring now.. need to say goodbye to the bike. Rejoined to offer my bike to the highest bidder. (smile) She sat, covered, in my garage for 19 years. That's what happens when you get a couple of sport cars and your wife no longer wants to wear a helmet. How do I offer the bike on the COG website? It starts at only $500 and has to be picked up within 2 weeks! House is sold, all goods are sold including sports cars as we retire to international destinations for the next 6 years or so. See pics... I could use some advice as to where to post it for sale.

Good looking bike. Someone should bite. I’d be a candidate but I’m all the way down in Georgia and and can’t get up there within two weeks.Good luck!

Where is the bike? (my wife would kill me)
Northern Virginia - specifically in Ashburn, VA. However, if you tell the Mrs. that it's an investment for parts that can make good money .. maybe she'll ease off. Also, if you just happen to fix it up... well... All is good and bike will have a good home. (smile)

Nice looking bike
Wish it were closer.
ONOBob, you have no idea... well, maybe you do ... how much joy riding this bike was for me. Blue Ridge Parkway, Outer Banks, New Orleans, Atlanta, Texas Hill Country, Kentucky mountains, upstate New York, Montreal, Toronto, up and down Vermont and New Hampshire... She took me on many adventures in all sorts of weather. As you probably know, when you're working and traveling for your job, you just don't get a lot of time for personal pleasures so a solo roadtrip every few years was a sweet indulgence. This bike is a MUCH better 'rider' than I was. Never forget driving into Atlanta from Myrtle Beach one time late at night and tired as heck... I was doing about 75 as I entered an ATL highway interchange that was probably posted at 45... I immediately woke up (smile) and was going to throw down the bike so I didn't wrap myself into the guardrail and when I prepared to lay it down, the bike just took that turn like it was no big deal. Needless to say, I had a new found respect for what our Concours could do and when my heart stopped beating out of my chest, I was awake for the rest of that drive!! Yes.. now she deserves a good home...

Thanks Ron... She was an amazing bike. I started with a bike at 15 when the max was 100cc at that age. Moved up to a 400cc ... then up to a 750cc and then I saw the Concours - 1000cc. I can't imagine what it would have been like to START OFF riding a bike with this much power!! Dangerous is an understatement. These days there are folks that are just starting off riding bikes with 1400+cc's. No real idea of what it's like to crawl before you walk, walk before you run, then run before you fly. That's probably what kept me alive and accident free my whole riding experience. (smile)
