Well it's official.  After lusting after one on and off since I was a teen in the mid 80s, I picked up a pristine one owner 02.  73K on the clock, but an extensive detailed maintenance log.  It'll be my long distance steed and will share a stable with my 01 FZ1.  Look forward to learning all the ins and outs I can in here.  Thanks.

Welcome Mike from Fremont Nebraska!
The first long distance ride I did on my c10 was the Spider ride,  check it out in the events list.  :great:

Did somebody say Fremont? We still meet for breakfast once a month at the Denny's in Gretna on the third Saturday of the month at 9am. I see where you're a bit north of us, but we usually have a guy ride to breakfast from Blair. Last month there was only two of us and only one bike. I drove there with the top down on the roadster tho...

I'm planning to go this month, and I suspect Bob will be there too, but for the one in October I'll be out of town that week.

Welcome!

I would definitely be game for that cog1374. It will just depend on my schedule. I'm on call every other weekend as a funeral director.

No problem. Stop in for breakfast when you can.

I remember back before I retired and had to be on call every other week as an IT admin guy. Glad those days are behind me.
