my 08 seat was a little rough. the bead rider helped but it was time to step up and get serious. I gave steve at sewn rite a call and that's were the magic started. steve did a seat cover job on my dorsoduro and I was quite impressed. I purchased 25x25x2cm gel for the underside.
he blended in some silver swoops and used a inverted baseball stitch diamond for the main seat down area. (each diamond has a bit of foam in it also)
great job and supporting local craftsman is a plus. give em a call

sewn rite has requested that I do not give out a price as every seat is different. if I say the price people would probably call and say hey he was givin that price and I want the same thing. you know the deal. I think the gel is really going to help. the beadrider i was using was kicking my ass. give steve a call tell em your a friend of Mike Buxton from the concours forum. you'll be surprised how reasonable he is.

I just had my 78 KZ seat recovered.
My c10 seat cover is in good shape.

This winter, I’m gonna order some of that gel and put in myself / see how if it helps my tender back side.

My main problem is my tail bone gets sore.
I saw a seat on a TV program the other day that was made for people like me. It basically had a depression by in the center of the seat.
Odd looking and ugly as hell.
I’ll try this before I try that seat design. 🤣

I highly recommend getting the 2cm thick stuff. I bet Steve could make what your talking about.

here is level view, slight curve near tank.

Gel seats are the bane of bicyclists, especially in hot weather. Anyone who's ridden such a setup knows what I'm talking about.

A heavy-duty air bladder arrangement and this particular "tailor" would make for an excellent combo on the stock seat pan.
