SMALL SPARE KEY

Not on purpose, I leave the stove pipe key in the ignition except when I fill up.  I use the key in the FOB to open the bags.  Don't know why I don't use the little key to get gas, too.  No particular reason.  Just what I do. :)

Don't know, the 08-09 came with two fobs that held them.  Sorry, I couldn't resist.  The old ones did have some things better! I'm sure one of the 2010-11 owners will pop in with an idea.

I use industrial strength Velcro (this stuff sticks through anything - i held on my front license plate on my car with it for 3 years). My small fob is stuck to the back of my left side saddle bag. so far so good. No issues sticking (and it's there pretty solid).

I have a bag that generally goes with me everywhere.  Mine is in there.  It's not just a small spare key, the plastic part has a non-electronic RFID chip in it that will start the bike.
