Would you mind elaborating a bit on the install? Do you have to remove fairing bits?  I'm very much interested in these.
 
Yuri, I do have the install instructions.  Here is one page showing some details.  The side fairings (ones with the fins) need to come off for access.

Any chance you have some experience or can relate someone else's with regards to their actual protection capabilities?
 
The bike has over 22K miles on it and there is not a scratch on the fairings.  I have only had the bike a couple of weeks.  Here is a members post about a 40mph low side and the sliders with photo link.  Looks pretty darn good for a 40mph get off.

I replaced them with the Top Block sliders because I liked the way they looked, but they also cost over $700 with the exchange rate and shipping.
