What color are the wheels going to be? Matching yellow?

I actually just got the wheels back from the powder coater, we used Prismatic Alien Silver, it's spot on to the oem silver for that year, it took us 3 wrong silvers to find it, I'm stoked with how they turned out!
:great: :great:

Finishing off the Gixxer restoration with the last bits, she's 100% oem now, even removed my Zumo, TPX, and heated grips. While up there also switching over to the rare Ybody in the unicorn yellow, this will be my first yellow bike so that's pretty exciting, also can't wait to see the silver wheels we had powdercoated last year mounted up.

I'm not usually a fan of yellow, but that looks great.    :great:

Wow! Silver wheels are a great refinement. Are those right angle valve stems? Very cool!

Uh oh, seeing double? Brought home another COVID rescue today! :)

She's a 2000 GSXR750, 29k miles, clean title, needs a little TLC n love but I think I already have spares of the parts needed, runs and rides as is now. I think I'll put the set of red/wht/blu 00 bodywork and white wheels on her.

On to the next... (y)(y)

I can't believe how hard it is to find one! I STILL look. I got a harley itch too... been looking for a xr1200x for 2 years now. Midwest sucks for bike buying

True that, I'd been looking for quite awhile pretty much daily across the US with a half dozen different search engines, this one it turns out I actually had a chance at buying earlier this year for twice the price and then it disappeared from the listings, but then it popped back up cheap and I grabbed it the next day, owner was moving out of state and wasn't going to have a garage at the new place so needed it to sell quick, right place right time. :)

I dropped it off at my local shop last weekend while I gather my replacement parts together from garage boxes and order a few parts needed that I don't have. I've decided to put the white wheels and red/wht/blu bodywork on her, and going all oem stock on this one too, it seems that brings the most $ for them going forward now at 20 years old. We'll be pulling the full Yosh system and Power commander off to sell on ebay along with the set of yellow bodywork that was on it, I already have a full set of the yellow oem bodywork on my other K1 currently so don't need a 2nd set of that color, I'll prob keep the wheels that came on it for future if needed, they're in excellent condition with zeo lip rash. Selling the Yosh, PC, and bodywork will help to cover the labor costs at my local shop. Good times!
