For those of you who have added a TPMS system to your C10 I have a question: do you set the "alarm" to the recommended COLD pressure as specified in the Owners Manual (2002 C10 says 36psi front, 41psi rear) or do you set a higher pressure value to factor in tire pressure going up as the tires heat up?
I have this TPMS: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019OKA7E0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I recently changed batteries in the units themselves as well as the display unit. I set the tires to the recommended air pressure, front and rear while COLD. Went out for a short ride and the TPMS display started beeping and vibrating because the rear jumped from 41/42 to 44psi. The front jumped to 38, but I guess because the rear was already triggered it did not complain, or maybe 2 psi is not sufficient to trigger the alert.
Just looking for thoughts/suggestions, please.
