First off let me thank Jim and Glena again for all the years of hard work keeping this event alive. It was the first event I ever attended and has still remained my favorite.
The registration page is live and the motel rooms and cabins already have some bookings, so get on the stick if you are planning on coming this year.
Please let me or the admin know if you have trouble paying online. I had one H E double hockey sticks of a time getting the captcha to work so I could pay online myself.
Also be sure to notice the additional meals available from the caterer are CASH ONLY at the event. She does not do cards. Only the Saturday night meal is included in your registration. She does want a head count for the additional meals if possible so click the boxes when you register if you want additional meals.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Rufus

When I talked to the caterer the meal was $25 and the registration says the cost is $36. What is the extra $11 for?

Greetings folks,

I had some alternative plans fall through, so it looks like I'll be able to attend this year's event. Unfortunately for me, my "last minute" decision means there's "no room left at the inn". If anyone is looking for someone to share their room/cabin with, please give me a call (360 910-7925).

Thanks

Rumor has it that some ner-do-wells are going to meet for lunch on Friday at The Bakers Table in Pomeroy, somewhere in the 12:30-1pm window of time. Feel free to stop by and substantiate said rumor.

I took everything that belongs to COG out of my basement and turned it over to Christy, at the Lewis Clark Resort for Rufus. From the looks of things you will need some paper plates for the meals. Have fun.

I'll be thinking of you, even if I can't be there. The Bun Cooler is what convinced me to join COG, and is still my favourite event to start the riding season off.

I had my foot surgery on 1 March. I was really really looking forward to making this rally. But...our youngest daughter scheduled an awareness and fund raiser event for this weekend in Palo Alto. Her disease is myalgic encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome. So, she can't do the event by herself...and Mom agreed to fly down to Palo Alto to help out. Unfortunately, they didn't ask me if I had any plans.

Here's the complication...I have a 96 yr old FIL. Someone has to stay in town to be available if he does something not too smart.

And of course, he did. He tripped inside the bathroom, hit his head. The place he lives at called 911. He didn't want to go to the hospital, but will stay the night in his room. So I'll stop by tomorrow and check up on him...while you're all out enjoying yourselves.

So enjoy.

Chris

Hope all have fun, once again had the pleasure to put up Bob on his way down to the BC. BBCB...Bob Bun Cooler Bound!
