Dash shelf

Just in case y'all were waiting for the GRAND ANNOUNCEMENT, I finally have the c14 dash shelves. They are from BMS in Idaho. They supply the equipment for the police version of our beloved c14. I had to order 10 units to get any manufactured. They were out of stock and not expected to get anymore. The price is $90 plus actual shopping costs to you. Installation is simple and straight forward, even without a template.

Take off windscreen, center shelf on gauge cluster and mark the black plastic cover that covers the windscreen mechanism for drilling of the well nuts holes. Remove cover and Drill holes with the appropriate bit, and insert well nuts (supplied with screws) and reinstall cover. Install shelf with included screws. Unfortunately the screws have a silver finish, so i hit mine with some black enamel before installing the shelf.

I have my GPS unit mounted with a Ram arm that puts the GPS perfectly in my line of sight. I've noticed no flex or damage to the covers mounting points. Would also be the place I'd mount a radar/laser detector if I used one but I don't.
