Just picked this up last week.  I never even rode a cruiser before.  Pretty comfy, but slooooooow.  Only 68 hp, and 50# heavier than my 2k Connie.  It gets worse gas mileage too.  I'm thinking of keeping them both.  Anyone else have a cruiser?  Thoughts?

  I think I  recently said in another thread. I almost bought an Intruder a few years back now (2004). I really liked riding it. But I wound up going with the sportier cruiser. I still have the Mean Streak to this day. I did put it up for sale because I haven't been riding it much lately (or any of the bikes for that matter). But haven't really tried very hard. I really do love that bike. Especially on hot days.  :)

- got a cruiser too , an FLSTC.

- its slow , brakes are crap , and handles like crap too.

- other than that , its a great motorcycle ...

Got rid of my 2005 Yamaha Roadstar Midnight Silverado and my BMW K1200RS to buy my 2012 Connie.  :)

But the cruiser just was not my thing. I just felt more at home on the BMW so I upgraded.

 
 
I sometimes ride with a friend who has an intruder.....I wait for him at the turnouts when we do any twisties at all . He rides dang erously slow.

That's the baby, same color too.  One of the gyus I ride with rides a Busa.  He is fixin to bust my chops bigtime.  He's already started.  ???
