Just bought 2015 versys 650 abs and love it. looking to add heated grips and aux lights. owners manual shows a set of wires for each under front left side and they are there. Cannot get power to either set with engine running, or off, or just ignition switch turned to on,  no power,  even with good ground from battery no 12volts.  Aux 5 amp fuse is good and has power to its block going through it. Any ideas?

Go to the versys fourm. You will find that there is a relay that needs to be installed. Ma k wants alot for it but it can be found for a lot less by looking up the base part number.

Will do thanks, but still puzzled as to why there is no voltage on the wires marked for heated grips. Seems they would have to be either the coil power for the relay or the operating power for the load. If neither then do not understand why they are there. In my checking if I come up with anything interesting will post , thanks again.

OK thanks...stumbling thru this only owned bike few days. Looks like local stores have relay for $36 hunting around to see if can find one little less if not off to Kawi shop. thanks to all...

That same relay is on C-14’s, I used the one that was on my Connie I tore up. So what I’m saying if you can find a parts bike, it’s on any C-14.
