Bag Lunch Meet and Greet - Quabbin Reservoir [MA] Sunday 9/30 12 pm

We are planning on meeting at the Quabbin. Not sure about the post-lunch ride. We'll play it by ear....... See you tomorrow.

Sounds good!  Weather is looking beautiful - nice fall riding.
 
It was quite an adventurous day, complete with perfect fall weather, a nice lunch outside at the Quabbin tower picnic area, 11 bikes, 10 that went on the 2 1/2 ride.  Most of the roads were a beautiful combination of twisty, hilly, decent pavement, very little traffic.  Oh, and it wouldn't be one of my rides unless I rode past a "No Thru Traffic" sign to find out a bridge was out, then onto a 3+ mile firm packed hilly road.  An YES, we ended with a delicious stop at Howards Ice Cream in West Brookfield.    They are near the end of season, and down to just a few flavors but the Baby size was 3 scoops! 
Great seeing everyone; both members and guests.

We recently posted the End of Year Social - set for Sat Nov 10th at noon  at the Horseshoe Pub in Hudson, MA.  Hope to see you there!
