Brake Lines.

I wanted to change out my brake lines for steel lines. Does anyone know the stock hose lenghts(all three)? What length would I need for a two line conversion? I have a stock handlebar setup. Any help is appreciated.

Dunno the size, but... murpskits.com sells Spiegler SS brake line kits (2 or 3 line) all sized properly for the Concours and comes in different colors. -- Steve Smith, #3184 COG Northeast Area Director (somewhere in south central CT)

I wanted to purchase some custom goodridge lines. So I needed to know the length's of the stock ones. Or the length of the longer "two style" lines. Murph's is nice but I wanted something different.

You may want to touch base with Goodridge tech support. I recall someone worked with them to come up with a set for the C10. The ZG models are not listed in the Goodridge catalog, but they may still have the info around. -- Steve Smith, #3184 COG Northeast Area Director (somewhere in south central CT)

Aside from the lengths, you will also need to ensure the fittings have the correct angles. I just replaced all my lines last month with some from Murph's, and if I have gotten them mixed up they would not have fit because of the different angles on the fittings. Later, Charlie

+1 on what Charlie said! Summer in Yuma is not hell, but hell is a local call :) 2006 Connie http://community.webshots.com/user/Lateck?vhost=community

Also keep in mind if you ever want to fit bar risers or a different set of bars you will want slightly longer lines on the front. Colin Prior Cogmos Committee Chairman Lake Forest Park WA COG#7767

Thanks for everyones replies. I went over to SunnySteve's on sat & he assured me that it would be alot easier to order Murph's kit. He is using Russel's on shouldabeen now. Murph's kit comes w/all the bolts & wahsers etc. I found that new EBC pads and a system bleed was all I needed for right now. Nice two finger lever action. Text
