Boy oh boy I hope somebody here can offer an idea on this one...
Buddy's Kawi Z750S. Or Z750, this one is a '05.
I rode it around, got the engine hot and then did an oil change. It ran fine. Started it after changing the oil, no problem.
Then I changed the spark plugs, and now it won't start. Starter spins and engine is turning over, but no spark.
These are stick coils and they are an absolute bear to get at. The entire front of the wiring harness has to be pulled through the frame to behind where the coils are. I MUST have pulled a wire loose but I can't find anything anywhere. There's voltage at every point in every connector.
So...anybody ever heard about a mysterious 6v gray wire on some of these Kawis? Cuz this one has 10 volts and I can't find out if this bike has that resistor system or not.
Is there any chance I've triggered some kind of anti theft system?
Already jumped the clutch and side stand switches. I can't think of anything else.
