I installed an Avon Azaro for my C-10's rear two days ago, replacing a way-too-slick ME880 that came from the PO. I rode in the rain to work yesterday but it cleared up for the ride home. Since installing the tire, I've noticed that Connie goes entirely too fast most of the time, especially through curves. I keep telling her, "Connie, we shouldn't be going this fast." but she just giggles and goes faster. All I can do is hang on for dear life and display a broad smile of shock and dismay. Her balance is completely off, she's now a lot more Sporty than she is Tourey, I'd say it's about an 80:20 S to T ratio now. So, if you're looking for tires, beware these particular evil black doughnuts. Once you put them on, your bike will be very difficult to restrain and police officers (who do not ride) will not be understanding about it. Thanks for the warning, but I've already been tramatized by the Avon effect before. If you continue to have such issue I suggest staying away from roads with curves and stick to the boring long and flat interstates. AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! I know what you mean... the Metzleer Z4/Z2 combo was even worse than my Avon Storm/Azaro combo. Sure glad they discontinued them (not!) -- Steve Smith, #3184 COG Northest Area Director (somewhere in south central CT) If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Hello everyone. My name is Mike. It's been about 20 hours since I last dragged my pegs. I can't stand the separation much longer! I'm an Avon addict... Mike B / Gig Harbor, WA

Avons Rule! Once I put them on, I was going "Uh oh!", much like yourself. Nice skinz man! After going the Stocker/ then Metzlers 880/then Pilot GT routes I will never go back. These are just too much fun!

Alls well and good until you're replacing them every 6-8K. Yeah, they're sticky as h-e double hockey sticks, but they never lasted much more than a partial season for me....and at $2xx a pair, a bit much money. But, they sure were fun miles. With my ME880's, what I'm losing in handling is being paid back in longer life on my pegs ;)

I've got 8k on mine and still good for another 1 or 2k. Can't complain. Greg H from Mass, Connie Droppers Anonymous Awards Dude COG# 7010,a Tracey CDA 120 99 Connie "Herrin Christabelle", 05 Ninja 250

Ahhhh... brings back wonderful memories of my first ride in the twisties with the Azaros, after a year and a half of the stock Dunlops. You just couldn't wipe the smile off my face that day! :p Steve K. '02 Concours COG# 6550 AMA# 965469 'No matter where you go, there you are...'

Welcome to the dark side Luke. I put them on and never looked back. Wooo Hooo. Ducati-The thinking mans V-Twin

Jack, The Avon Storm is for the front. It's the replacement for the Azaro at least for the front. So it's Storm for the front and Azaro for the rear. Eddie 2005 Concours 1969 Triumph Bonneville AMA# 686667 COG# 7073 CDA# 0136 http://picasaweb.google.com/Eddie753

Thanks Eddie. I have the Metzler Z6 on the front. Azaro on the rear. I'm going to get matching Avons as soon as I run this set out. I'm so addicted to the sport Avon it won't be long. I do 20000 miles per year. Well see how they grip in the cold wet. Gonna ride till there is snow and ice on the roads. Jack
