Just entered a tire complaint.
The Dunlop Road Smart 120/70R-18 tire has had tread belt separation with multiple failures. Appears to be limited to the 2008 batch. My tire date stamped next to DOT # is  0908, Sept 2008.
 
Update:
The visual exterior of the tire tread looked like it was uneven but not extreme.
Pulled tire off today and found the bubbles/bulges of the tread seaparation from the carcass that was noted by other users.
The bulges are not as clar in the photo and are in the shoulder of the tread. Others I have seen are centered in tread and are much larger, longer.
My reason for posting is to warn other riders who may have the mfg date 2008 Dunlop RoadSamrt front tire, also seemd only the
120/70R-18 has this problem
