Yep Connie and mud. Always a bad choice if you have one. I got so much mud, rocks and hay stuck in my from fender once it would have ended my trip right there if not for a kindly passer by and his home around the corner. That stuff was packkkkkkked in there.

I do NOT want to ride that road...ever! I thought snow was bad, that stuff looks like my worst nightmare come true. :8o:
 
Nothing is slicker or stickyer than adobie. How it can be both at the same time I don't know. Been hunting down there and had to drive 4 wheel drive rigs at 35+mph to keep mud from building up on front wheels and actually locking up the steering.
