Big Wheel
Just thought I'd start the first one.

The knocking at start up is normal. It's the can chain tensioner that has to build up oil pressure to work.

The idle should be around 1,000 RPM.

Puliing the flies adds low end grunt, but has no effect on all out HP.

Dumping the clutch at 8,000 RPM from a dead stop, will result in a 12:00 wheelie. 8)

Pulling the flies adds torque to the bottom end of the RPM range and allows freer airflow at higher RPMs.  Most who pull the flies add other elements to produce big HP numbers (compared to stock) and have dyno'd results.  Mine went from 136 to 149HP.  Flies out, full AreaP exhaust w/carbon fiber can, BMC air filter, PC-V on Jamies map.  I could probably get into the mid 150's with a custom map, but I am extremely happy with it.
