HD sales way down.

Slowly...the one bright spot is the sales of the 300cc-500cc bikes...most of the aftermarket suppliers are excited about the numbers of these bikes that are out there...it sort of offsets the manufacturers focusing on $25k bikes...which won't bring any new riders into the sport...it just magnifies issues like HD is having...the variety of bikes the Japanese manufacturers produce could end up saving the industry...

We'll just have to see...
 
Look at the graph in the article.  I think a lot of things took a hit in 2009/2010 after the housing market and economy down turn. Things are recovering slowly and people are a lot more cautious when spending discretionary funds in their budgets.
