Icycle Derby

Just for curiosity I went to the link.  What is the Icycle Derby?  I can't seem to find a description.

To far from Oregon to consider for me but what's it all about?

It is a timed road rally. They give you driving directions that you need to follow at a prescribed speed until you get to a check point. They then give you another set of directions to the next spot. You are judged by how close you can travel at the required speed. Easy Peazy.
