Newer windscreen motors compatible with older C14?

Has anybody with a Concours from 2008 to 2014 replaced the windscreen motor with the newer one intended for 2015 and up? Partzilla shows Kawasaki part number 55036-0003 for the older models (and it is unavailable) while the part number is 55036-0009 for the 2015 and newer models.

Its probably superceded. I dont see any reason why they would be different... only portion of the windshield that changed in 2015+ was the addition of the vent..
 
I think that I found the answer. All C14 from 2008 to 2022 have the same part number 11055 for the "mirror bracket" which the windscreen motor attaches to. So, the newer windscreen motor 55036-0009 should work on the 2008 to 2014 models also.
