Northeast Spring Fling 2025 !

It's a shame that Whitehorse Press is no longer around. It was one of my favorite things to do when in the area. :(
 
I've reserved a room with 2 beds, 3 nights (Thurs, Fri, Sat)
I'm looking to share a room. I don't smoke. I use a CPAP which stops the snores!
Total Cost is $419.91 and half will be $209.50.
 
Registered and reserved. Thinking I might take the US202 from CT and avoid the Interstates completely. About 6 hours from Wethersfield CT. I figure leave at 0800, get there around check in time. I don't mind the Interstate, but my long-time riding buddy is now on a Bergman 650. When he gets it over 75 it starts wiggling like a salmon going upstream. We rode down to the Spring Fling in PA a while back and I80 was quite an experience for him.

Do you by chance know how much the sales tax & hospitality tax rates are?
Trying to compare to other venues.

Hi Jay
According to my Golden Gables booking receipt, I calculate that tax and fees are 8.5% based on a contracted room rate of $129/night and the following statement on my email receipt:
If you cancel within the 48 hour window you wil be charged one nights stay plus tax USD 139.97

I working with a property that is at 12%.

It looks like others have already responded. The hotel is 129.00 / night, 3 nights is 387.00 + 8.5% tax is $419.91. I looked up and confirmed New Hampshire room (and meal) tax rate is 8.5%.
They charge tolls on the 3 highways in the NH Turnpike System (Blue Star, Central Turnpike, Spaulding Turnpike) and accept E-Z Pass or cash.

Yes Steve, NH meal & lodging tax is 8.5%. I provided the NH Government web link confirming the tax rate in my earlier reply.

This is my turf having moved to North Conway in 1973. I now live in Bethlehem about an hour west of NC. I have put together a breakfast ride for Friday, 5/16 leaving the hotel at 8 am. It's about 200 miles long with a stop at Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill. It will include the Kanc, the Connecticut River and Mt. Washington (without a ride up). I hope you will consider joining me.
