I took my '08 back to get the other rear end seal replaced (they replaced the big one but not the smaller one the first time) and while it was there I got my engine oil leak fixed (valve cover gasket), replaced the coolant, and the brake/clutch fluid. Wow. What a difference in the brakes! It's like power brakes on a car, now. I had noticed the same thing when I had it done on my other bike but I'd forgotten what a difference it made.  :motonoises:
